Would be happy to join in. I agree that after the 25th is best. Chaos will be reigning in my house until then. Love the idea of doing this off in a quiet corner in my pjs. Let me know when and where to login.

Hi Dawn,
We are putting the equipment in now. Projectors and computers with H.323 capability. I plan on using the technology for a variety of purposes. Including: virtual field trips, classroom collaborations, distance learning and distance professional development. Which is why I am writing back to you. I am hoping you can help with this endeavor. Perhaps start with a field trip, a professional development opportunity for preschool/elementary teachers or both, then contact with another school? Please let me know the possibilities. I also want to utilize CILC's field trip bank. Thanks, Dawn , I look forward to hearing from you.

Yes, we do offer distance learning programs to schools, grades 4 - 12. As we are now in the beginning stages only two have been presented. Our guides have been encouraged and are now gathering data and writing programs for presentation. A new enthusiasm is emerging...
Our Chief Interpreter, Billy Nations, can give more explicit information to your inquiries.
Respectfully

Tim,
www.cilc.org has a free service called the Collaboration Center.
Here you can post that you are looking for partners!
You'll need to register on the site, but it is free.
Thought this might be another valuable tool to help you get the word out!

Hi Dawn,

If any of your member of CILC want UK schools to VC with them please send them this article. I'll happily pair them up if they sign up with JANET Collaborate and join one of the partner opportunities

Richard Dallinger. He is the head of the chemistry department and his wife, Edith, works with the student education abroad program in Scotland. She might be someone who might be interested in use VC to contact her students while they are overseas.

Hey, Dawn!
I did not realize that you are from Crawfordsville. My husband's brother and family have lived there for 20+ years. He is head of the chemistry department at Wabash. Small world.
